Bahu Fort Development Committee J&K held a meet of volunteers to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming holy Navratras which are going to be held in the month of March 2023.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship Baldev Raj Nagotra, President Kr. Rajeev Charak, Vice Chairman Adv. Ishant Gupta, Vice President Sourabh Sethi, Rahul Gupta, Legal Advisor Adv. Varun Gupta, Office Incharge Rahul Kumar, Naresh Kumar and Sukhwinder Kumar.
While speaking, Kr. Rajeev Charak said that the practice of volunteer service during navratas at Bawe Wali Mata Shrine was paused for the last few years but now the committee will be going to restore the same in upcoming Navratras for which the arrangements will be discussed today. Rajeev Charak appeals the Government administration to kindly conduct their official meeting prior one month from the commencement of Holy Navratras so that that proper arrangements can be done for the ease of Yatris and grievances will also be addressed in due course of time and in this context he invites the representatives from all the concerned departments to remain present in the next meeting called by the Committee as on Sunday, 5th March, 2023.
Baldev Raj Nagota said that we will intensify our campaign for the constitution of shrine board after Navratras till then he said that the Committee appeals to His Excellency The Lieutenant Governor of J&K to kindly intervene personally and fast track the process of the long pending demand for the constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata Temple, Bau Fort.
Adv. Ishant Gupta said that BFDC is a social organization and is always ready for self-service. He appeals to all the volunteers to be in discipline while performing their duties during Navratas and also be polite to all the yatris so that they will be eased in performing darshan’s at the holy shrine. He said that this time committee will make use of technology and come up with new and innovative arrangements in the interest of yatris and organization too.
Sourabh Sethi extends vote of thanks and appeals to the volunteers to be proper uniform so that they can be identified among the massive crowd of yatris. He also thanked the media persons for covering the meeting.
Sheetal Kumar, Sikander Kumar, Balbinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Ajay Kumar, Dharma Pal, Tarsem Lal and others were present on this occasion.
